The following nucleases are supported: SpCas9, AsCas12a, enAsCas12a, and RfxCas13d (CasRx). The available on-target cutting efficiency scoring methods are RuleSet1, Azimuth, DeepHF, DeepCpf1, enPAM+GB, and CRISPRscan. Both the CFD and MIT scoring methods are available for off-target specificity prediction. The package also provides a Lindel-derived score to predict the probability of a gRNA to produce indels inducing a frameshift for the Cas9 nuclease. Note that DeepHF, DeepCpf1 and enPAM+GB are not available on Windows machines.' authors: - family-names: Fortin given-names: Jean-Philippe email: fortin946@gmail.com - family-names: Lun given-names: Aaron email: infinite.monkeys.with.keyboards@gmail.com preferred-citation: type: article title: A comprehensive Bioconductor ecosystem for the design of CRISPR guide RNAs across nucleases and technologies authors: - family-names: Hoberecht given-names: Luke - family-names: Perampalam given-names: Pirunthan - family-names: Lun given-names: Aaron email: infinite.monkeys.with.keyboards@gmail.com - family-names: Fortin given-names: Jean-Philippe email: fortin946@gmail.com journal: Nature Communications volume: '13' issue: '1' year: '2022' start: '6568' repository: https://bioc.r-universe.dev repository-code: https://github.com/crisprVerse/crisprScore url: https://github.com/crisprVerse/crisprScore/issues date-released: '2024-01-16' contact: - family-names: Fortin given-names: Jean-Philippe email: fortin946@gmail.com
