The MsBackendMassIVE package\nprovides functionality to retrieve and represent mass\nspectrometry (MS) data from MassIVE. Data files are downloaded\nand cached locally avoiding repetitive downloads. MS data from\nmetabolomics experiments can thus be directly and seamlessly\nintegrated into R-based analysis workflows with the Spectra and\nMsBackendMassIVE package.",
